Hello Stranger is a retro-tinged breath of fresh air an album that sparkles with soft rock charm while hiding emotional depth beneath its polished surface. Jointly recorded between Zachary’s home studio and Dutch producer Phil Martin’s setup in Dordrecht, this 10-track journey feels like opening a dusty vinyl gem from the late ’70s, only to realize it speaks directly to the present.

With shimmering guitars, analog synths, and slick grooves, the production walks a fine line between nostalgia and modernity. But it’s the lyrics that pull you in: cryptic, poetic, and often introspective. Tracks like “Ink Under Skin” and “Wake Me When It’s Over” hit especially hard, fusing thoughtful storytelling with earworm melodies.

The album flows effortlessly from the dreamy, psychedelic “Down the Rabbithole” to the anthemic uplift of “You Got This.” Each song feels like a chapter, exploring themes of self-doubt, transformation, and quiet hope. It’s a record that invites you to listen closely, then rewards you with new layers every time.

Hello Stranger is more than a throwback, it’s a heartfelt, intelligent pop-rock record that feels both timeless and timely.
