A silver horse still lingers in the heat of late June, moving through a space where memory bends and intimacy feels manufactured rather than felt. kaeziwaezi’s Silver Horse opens a window into Seagulls Don’t Remember Anything, released June 12, and continues to feel immediate in its aftermath.
The track draws inspiration from The Bachelor, reframing romance as a constructed escape from mortality. Beneath its dark concept, the production folds electronic textures with organic performance, creating a tense atmosphere that feels both fragile and cinematic. Bobby Granfelt brings controlled precision on drums, while Takoda Dionne’s guitar work cuts through with a restless glow.
What emerges is a performance that feels intimate and unsettled, especially within its hybrid live form where bass and vocals anchor the emotional pull. Silver Horse does not settle into comfort, instead it opens a wider narrative world that invites closer listening while holding something back.
