What happens when a songwriter stops trying to make sense of his own life and begins questioning the world around him? The answers may not come easily, but sometimes the most rewarding music comes from the courage to leave a question unanswered. On Scenes from a Well Worn Path (Side Three), Music by Jeremy takes this approach, turning everyday observations, philosophical puzzles and personal convictions into a thoughtful collection that invites listeners to look beyond the surface. Released on 25 October 2026, this third instalment forms part of an ambitious 24 track, four part double album that traces the artist’s life through significant moments and reflections. Representing a shift from the inward looking nature of the first two sides, this chapter broadens its perspective without losing the intimacy that makes the songwriting compelling.

Opening with “No Price on Earth,” Jeremy establishes a quietly defiant mood, finding value in ordinary peace rather than grand achievements. The restraint is telling. Instead of pushing for dramatic declarations, he allows the song to breathe, giving its central idea room to settle. That understated approach carries through the record, where thoughtful writing takes precedence over easy conclusions. One of the album’s most intriguing moments arrives with “Economic Possibilities for our Grandchildren.” Drawing on John Maynard Keynes’s economic thinking and Shakespearean imagery, the song considers the distance between the promise of prosperity and the reality people have inherited. Its intelligence lies in the way it raises uncomfortable questions without turning into a lecture. Elsewhere, “I Don’t Know” approaches love through mathematical reasoning, eventually discovering that genuine affection cannot always be explained through logic. It is an inventive premise that gives a familiar subject a refreshing sense of personality.

Jeremy’s recording process also deserves attention. Working independently from his home studio in Banbury, England, he builds each song around acoustic guitar and vocals before using AI assisted arrangements to develop the fuller production. The technology serves the songwriting rather than dominating it, preserving the human imperfections and lyrical detail that give the performances their character. Shaped by a lifelong appreciation for classic storytelling, Scenes from a Well Worn Path (Side Three) balances literary curiosity with accessible songwriting. Music by Jeremy offers a record that rewards patience, thoughtful listening and repeated plays, proving that meaningful music need not dictate what its audience should feel or believe.
