Pop artist Kelsie Kimberlin has released her latest single Sucker and it’s one of those tracks that hits close to home, especially for anyone who’s ever felt strung along in a relationship. With a blend of raw honesty, emotional vocals, and a visually creative music video, this is Kimberlin at her most vulnerable and most powerful.

The song tells the story of someone who knows they’re being taken advantage of emotionally but can’t quite break free. It’s heartbreak with a beat and it’s painfully relatable. What sets Sucker apart though is how it doesn’t wallow. Instead it becomes a quiet anthem for recognizing your worth and learning to walk away.

The music video, filmed in Kyiv while Kelsie was working on a larger film project about Ukrainian resistance, is both symbolic and personal. Set in a room filled with musical instruments, she moves from one to another, searching for comfort and strength. Each instrument lifts her mood for a moment but ultimately it’s about finding resilience within herself. It’s a beautifully crafted visual metaphor and Kelsie’s expressive performance drives it home.

The track itself is polished yet emotional thanks to an all-star production team. It was mixed by Liam Nolan (Adele) and mastered by Stuart Hawkes (Amy Winehouse) and the result is a clean, radio-ready pop sound that still leaves space for vulnerability. Kelsie’s vocals carry both pain and power pulling you into her story from the very first line.

She’s said that Sucker is autobiographical but also represents the experience of countless girls who’ve been mistreated in relationships. “When girls don’t have the confidence to reject mistreatment the relationship becomes toxic,” Kelsie explained, and the song is a powerful call to recognize that cycle and break it.

With over 100 original songs to her name and a growing collection of global accolades including the United Nations Humanitarian Award and the St. George’s Royal Medal of Honor from King Charles, Kelsie Kimberlin is emerging not just as a pop star but as a global voice for change. Her upcoming film about Ukraine, which will feature several of her songs, is set to bring her message to an even broader audience.

Sucker is a reminder that even in the toughest emotional moments you can find clarity, strength, and eventually, peace. It’s not just a song, it’s a story that sticks with you.
