On September 19, 2025, American Ukrainian pop artist Kelsie Kimberlin unveiled her latest single and music video, Dream of Peace. This striking release aligns with the International Day of Peace. More than just another entry in her already accomplished catalog, the track stands as both a musical statement and a cinematic experience that reflects the longing of an entire nation.
Filmed in Kyiv during one of the most challenging moments of the war, the video merges surreal imagery with raw symbolism. Kimberlin begins in a desolate, almost post apocalyptic landscape before encountering an astronaut whose journey back to Earth transforms the scene into one of renewal and life. The closing shot, fields of sunflowers under a blue sky, captures both the fragility and strength of Ukraine’s spirit. That creative vision was brought to life by director Denys Akulov and his team at ToBe Production, whose work employs advanced motion control to achieve its dreamlike transitions.
The song itself mirrors the film’s arc. Opening with delicate orchestration, it gradually builds with choir and full instrumentation into a sweeping crescendo that commands attention. Produced and arranged by Ukrainian composer Yuriy Shapeta together with Colombian producer Pedro Vengoechea, the track benefits from world class mixing and mastering courtesy of Grammy level talent, including Liam Nolan and Stuart Hawkes. Kimberlin’s vocal performance rises above the lush arrangement with a mix of vulnerability and conviction, leaving the listener moved by both her message and delivery.
Kimberlin has never shied away from pairing artistry with activism. Over the past several years, she has taken her music directly into the heart of Ukraine, documenting resilience under fire and turning her platform into one of advocacy. Dream of Peace is another powerful extension of that mission. It was created under difficult circumstances yet carries a message of light.
With a growing international profile, millions of global streams, and recognition from humanitarian and royal institutions alike, Kimberlin continues to define herself as more than just a pop singer. She is a storyteller of hope. Dream of Peace is available now, with the official video premiering at the International Peace Concert in Los Angeles on September 21.
